Announcement of establishment of “Ugajin International Law Firm”

I, Takashi Ugajin, an attorney at Law (Japan and New York), established the “Ugajin International Law Firm” in January 2023.
I was involved for years in labor and employment matters, China and Hong Kong legal matters, business disputes, and many other practices at Mori Hamada & Matsumoto, one of the Big Four law firms in Japan. I also cultivated experience overseas, including studying abroad in the United States and work experience at a local boutique law firm in Hong Kong specializing on dispute resolution (Gall Solicitors). In doing so, I built close and deep relationships with a diverse array of professionals in Japan and overseas, in addition to my talented colleagues at Mori Hamada & Matsumoto. Based on my diverse and substantial array of practical experience and connections, I have independently founded the “Ugajin International Law Firm” to build a new type of platform to provide professional and flexible legal services from a free perspective so as to maximize the benefits for my clients.
I take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all of the clients, colleagues, attorneys, and other professionals and related persons with whom I have been involved to date, and would like to do my best in the future to maximize the benefits for all of my clients and to maximize the happiness of all stakeholders who kindly interact with me.
